About the Market

How the Farever Trade Market actually works

The Farever Trade Market is a community-run order book that sits beside the in-game economy. The trade itself still happens inside Farever — mailed or handed-off in person — but everything around the trade (discovery, pricing, messages, ratings, history) lives here. There are no listing fees, no premium tiers, no promoted slots, and we don't take a cut. The Hub is funded by Ko-fi tips, nothing else.

What you can do here

  • Browse listings filtered by category, rarity, side (sell or buy), and price range.
  • Post your own listing for any tradeable item, with a built-in fair-price hint that warns you if you're 50% outside the median.
  • Set watchlists with target prices — you'll get an email when a new listing crosses your threshold.
  • Message sellers privately to coordinate the in-game meetup.
  • Confirm trades mutually after the in-game handoff — that's how ratings and the public price-history chart get populated.

Reading the price history chart

Every item page shows a 30-day chart with two lines: ask (what sellers list at) and bid (what buyers offer). The median is usually what you want — averages get distorted by outlier whales, the median doesn't. Snapshots run daily at 03:15 UTC. A flat chart usually means nobody's listed the item recently, not that the price isn't moving.

Safety: what we ban for

Real-money trading is permanently banned — that means buying or selling Farever items, gold, or accounts for real-world money via PayPal, crypto, Discord, or any other channel. We ban for it because RMT funds bot farms (which wreck the economy for everyone), because we can't safely mediate real-world payment disputes, and because Farever itself bans accounts for it — losing your Hub history along with your in-game account is a bad trade.

Detection runs automatically across listings, board posts, parties, profile bios, and DMs. Strikes escalate: strike 1 warns you, strike 2 is a 7-day suspension, strike 3 is permanent. The full rules and the appeals path are in the trading guide.

If you're new

Start by setting two or three watchlists on items you'd actually buy if the price dropped — that's how most regulars discovered they liked the Hub. Then read the trading guide once. After that, it's mostly muscle memory. If you have a question the guide doesn't answer, the FAQ covers another fifty common ones.
