About the Archives
The Codex is the reference layer of the Farever Trade Hub — a hand-curated record of the things in Farever that the game itself never tells you in one place. Class mechanics, every weapon's full skill roster, profession recipes, the zone atlas with travel obelisks marked, the bestiary including sparkling rares and elite spawns, and a searchable item compendium of every drop, craft, and vendor good in early access.
Farever launched in early access with an in-game tutorial that ends around level 5 and a wiki that grows in fits and starts. The Hub's Archives fills the gap with structured, opinionated entries: not just "this weapon exists" but which class actually wants it, not just "this zone is level 12" but whether the mob density makes it worth your time. Every entry is researched against in-game data and cross-checked against community sightings before it gets added.
Most pages in the Codex link to live market data — items show their current asking price and a 30-day chart, weapons list which tradeable variants are in circulation, and crafting recipes pull median reagent costs so you can tell at a glance whether a craft is profitable. If you're new to the Hub, the trading guide explains how listings, watchlists, and the mutual-confirm flow work; the beginner's guide covers the first three hours of play.
